Homework

When considering only their mustaches and not their lives...who is more tragic...Dali or Hemingway?

Think about it for a bit and get back to me. Best answer gets cookies.*

*Cookies will be chocolate chip and baked by me so taste cannot be vouched for. They'll be sent to the winner via USPS within one day of completion whenever that day actually happens to be.

A young female protégé asked Dali whether she had talent. He said "How can you be? Talent comes from the balls." That statement explains his moustache. Think about it.

Hemingway did not actually have a mustache. What was believed to be a mustache are actually two very furry cat toes, as Hemingway was polydactyl, leading to his love for polydactyl cats.

Dali.

I'm gay.

I know mustaches.

Dali was an artist, Hemmingway was a writer...that's all that needs to be said about that shit yo.

Actually, I think these moustaches represent the art of the creators. Bizarre art - bizarre facial hair. Historically-based tragically ended literature - ditto on the facial whatever per the above.

I am still to this day in complete turmoil that both Adolph Hitler and Oliver Hardy havd the same moustache. Oh the humanity.

Dali because it's so Pepe Le'Pew.

Hm.

One mustace is crooked and the other seems pretty normal to me. I call Dali!

goranas - ew. no cookies for you.

amanda - this slayed me. and it's truthiness has you at the top of the list.

woozie - relying on your gayness lacks creativity. no cookies!

erin - but...i don't get it.

future - against the rules to consider their art = lives! no cookies!

dad - off topic. no cookies!

deb - good answer...you're also in the running.

rachel - what?! you call hemmingway's wishbone "normal"?! no cookies!

Aw PHOOEY!

*stomps off and pouts...calls out from her sulk:*

You KNOW that compared to Dali's crooked dental floss 'stache, Hemingway's bush looks normal, damnit.

Gosh, this is tough. Hemingway certainly had the thickness, which is very important, but Dali had the length, which is also vital. And yet, these are NOT great mustaches.

Uh oh, that doesn't sound very nice, does it?

Ha. I was trying to show that bold letters are better than italics?
Or that artists are italics and writers are bold and thus writers are better?
Let's just pretend I was trying to convey one of these things...ok?

What's with the ghost behind Hemingway?
Dali's mustache looks like his artwork...this pose matches it too.
Hemingway looks like Hitler from a distance. It also looks incomplete. Like he got a mustache growing block.
Gotta go with Hemingway as the more tragic.
