Make sure you get blessed by an orthodox priest. He can see into your soul and knows everything you've done. But don't giggle or go weak in the knees when he stares into your eyes. Be humble, tip the horses and beware of the boyars.
What do you do there, ice skate? j/k! Gymnastics? j/k Pray heavily maybe??? Take lots of pics to show us! Hi Arizona... wait... New Jersey.... wait...hiccup... Oh Yah,,,,,,, Kansas! Make sure you bring her home!
Awww! It looks romantic, but what are you going to eat? Borscht? Borscht-like things? Things served cold? Yuck! I hope they have good vodka in Romania!
I envy you the goulash, dumplings, paprikash, and cabbage-rollish items you will probably be gorging on. Be sure to do a fairy dance among the snow-laden willows for me. (And Kansas, please do take photos whence said dance occurs. Post-excessive-vodka-consumption, I'd wager.)
It looks magical. Maybe it even is. It might be best to trip lightly over that old, old land for fear of waking any beasts. Either trip lightly or tip heavily - one of the two.
Just keep an eye out for Gene Wilder and Igor, they'll undoubtedly be behind the door of one of those eerie castles? And don't forget your warmest gloves and hats/baboushkas or you won't blend with all those lovely locals. Enjoy the differences!

I ditto Laura.
Oh, have fun, lucky you! If I were going to Romania, I would also go in winter. All that snow and ice -- cold, but romantic.
Isn't Romania close to Transylvania? Need I say it? Watch out for the vampires.
Looks cold. After the winter we've had, should feel like home. Take your warm fuzzies.
Romania???? Hell yeah!
Hmmmm... Romania...
Do you suppose that's where crazy Italians used to be sent?
